Hey guys -

I tried to take pictures again using my D7100.

This time I used 2 lamps for lighting. Just curious if you would change anything?

totally excellent picture. the lighting is very good. I can see you know your camera. David44 here is a photo taken with a new light. I had been hearing a lot about this light. it is a 4000 to 4500k natural white or what most are calling neutral white light. this spectrum of light is used for food photography. I thought I would like to try it for coins. this coin is slabbed. what are the lights are you are using. again very good photo

One thing to try is varying the vertical angle of the lights, to see if the photo looks better with a higher (more vertical) light angle. With coins, you never know in advance what light positions will give the best results.

I would prefer to see a bit more contrast in the image, but the image is good enough that all the needed information is present. I took the liberty of making some small adjustments:
