Are we allowed to do this? I just read the rules, and there is nothing explicitly prohibiting it, so here goes. Rules for this thread:1) If you are adding a name here, please have a valid reason for doing so. Fraudulent purchasing practices or item not paid for are good reasons. There may be other reasons as well. A reason that isn't valid is buyer sniped an item that you were bidding on. It might be annoying to you, but this thread is for reporting buyers with whom you've had interaction as a seller. 2) Post proof of your problems with buyer. Links to a ccf thread would suffice. Alternatively (and to prevent every non paying buyer from getting a new thread here), post a screenshot of the issue on ebay. See rule 3, below.3) Do not post the buyer's personal information. Post only what is seen by the public. Post nothing you get access to only as a result of the transaction. I imagine that will get this thread shut down by the powers that be. 4) Post a link to the buyer's ebay profile. This will allow us to see if the buyer has simply changed usernames. That's all I've got for now. I welcome any feedback. First buyer on the blacklist: robert_chapman1 ebay Profile: http://www.ebay.com/usr/robert_chap....m1561.l2754Reason: Fraudulent claim of defective product. ccf thread: http://goccf.com/t/285353

What about posting edited screenshots of messages? I have a case against a buyer who has a crap reason for not paying in time (their own personal gain). And they plan on bidding again when I relist. I can't remember if I can specifically block them or not anymore.

Spruett, if you don't already, your sale should have a stated rule the purchase must be paid for in a certain amount of time or the sale is void.

Spruett, messages are fine, as long as there's no personal information -- street addresses, email addresses, and phone numbers are what I'm most concerned about. Full names are tricky, especially when some people use all or part of their names in the username, as is the case with my guy. [edit] After writing the above, I'm questioning whether street addresses would be useful. What if it's a scammer's new account shipping to the same address? Depending on general consensus here, maybe revealing a combination of city/state/zipcode would work. If there's a questionable buy from the same zip, shoot a message to whoever had the negative experience with the buyer in that zip. Less useful in larger zip codes though.
Thanks for the link, Andrew99. I'm adding my guy after I figure out how to smack him with follow up feedback.

You can't leave follow up feedback unless he leaves feedback first.

Quote:isn't this thread pretty similar? http://goccf.com/t/2392 It is exactly the opposite! That thread advises ccf members on who not to buy from, while my goal with this one is to advise ccf members on who not to sell to. (I did do a double take just now and went over to that thread again to check.)

Ok well, my buyer actually did pay. Probably hours before the case would be decided against them. Their reason was they won two auctions on the same night and wanted a week to pay for mine because (I guess) it was the lower amount and they wanted to spread out their credit card charges. I'm sorry but, that's their problem and they should have messaged me beforehand. They squeaked by so no blacklisting. I just though it was a pretty poor way to treat a seller. Quote: your sale should have a stated rule the purchase must be paid for in a certain amount of time or the sale is void. In my case, after four days ebay automatically opens an Unpaid Item case to allow the buyer four more days to pay before voiding the sale. I use the app primarily which has less features but, are Second Chance Offers still a thing when an NPB bested other bidders?

nickleedLast year, this buyer bought a roll of 1971 Jefferson nickels from me. As usual, I scanned the items (front and back) before I listed them. The coins graded approximately Fine to About Uncirculated with most being VF and XF. Before I had put the roll together, I put aside any damaged or otherwise "problem" coins and put them away. Long story short is when he received the roll he said they were "not as pictured" and that they were "all culls." In other words, he lied! He also made personal threats in his message and in subsequent ones. Feeling threatened personally, I didn't respond back to him. Instead I reported him to ebay, and they said they would "look into it." Well, they did nothing. I then called them as he then opened a case against me. I spoke to an ebay representative who told me that they would close the case in my favor and also issue him a refund... I also asked her if he would be able to hurt me and leave me negative feedback, and the representative assured me "NO." Well, a couple of days later, he leaves a nasty negative feedback. Every word of it an out and out lie. I ended up filing a police report against him due to the personal, violent threats in the messages. Repeated efforts to get the negative feedback removed by ebay have been unsuccessful.
CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!

Got a refund and did not return items. I even sent multiple shipping labels in different envelopes.

Albanian scammers, order gold bullion from me once. Everything was fine. Ordered again from a different ebay account but same name different address. Paypal flagged the transaction. I did not ship. Order again same name and address as the first time, but a third ebay account. Did a chargeback and item was delivered and kept. I got refunded by Paypal but obviously this was a scam. They probably have new ebay accounts but don't ever take an order from these. evric-2 gjegjdaja_0 msislimwd2003_7
