Hey All!

I have quite a few of the original mint white boxes of quarters, dollars, and halves. They are unopened as well.

Is it worth keeping these in the unopened white boxes?

How are some of you dealing with this?

Thanks!

How old are they. Depending on the series, are they all the same date/MM. I would at least find out what"s inside...you can tell by the enders. Take a few pix and come back here. Basically as long as the rolls are kept unopened that's what matters, whole boxes are chancy to keep or sell if unknown of content in the very least.

They are all within the last 10 years. I pretty much know what each box contains. Varying mint marks - PDS and PD ones. Pic of the latest attached.

Unless I wanted/needed the quarters I would leave them sealed in the boxes.

You can always open them in the future, if you need to.

I struggled with the same question for the longest time. Until I needed the room in my safe.

If your goal is to profit, you may be able to net a few bucks over auction fees by selling them in the boxes, but you won't get rich.

I won't argue that keeping them in the white packing boxes will offer protection from impact damage.

Now that I think about this some more, a very similar question brought me to CCF some six years ago, coinee.
