Got my first 2017 penny in change yesterday.

When I first looked at the date, I thought it was a 2017-D. Living on the east coast, I found it quite odd that I'd get a Denver coin before a Philly coin.

Then of course I remembered that the Philly cents now have a big "P" on them. Yeah, it did look strange for a "D."

I find it weird that people several thousands of miles away from Philly have found plentiful 2017-P coins and yet I live about 440 miles away and have never seen or found any.

I live around 40 miles from the philly mint and whenever I go to wawa I get all '17 cents in change and that's the only place that has given me any. So if you're fortunate enough to live near a wawa I recommend trying there.

Anyone know if a gas station would sell a roll or two of pennies?
