@dorado, that is a nice medieval French coin. It looks to me like the attribution is Duplessy #1134. a very long time ago the edge was trimmed to harvest a small amount of silver while still leaving the cross intact and enough of the inscription so that it could be spent for full face value. In my experience, this is the majority condition for these pieces. I think that it started out weighing about 4.8g. What is it now--about 4.5g? Also, that annulet below the letter M in DOMINI is a little odd. I don't see that variety listed, but perhaps someone else here is more familiar and can weigh in for you.

As it was minted prior to 1600 AD, I'm going to recommend to the mods that your thread gets moved to the ancients and medieval section of CCF.
