Has Anyone Tried The Olloclip Macro Pro Lens For Iphone 6?

Hi,

Shopping around for a basic way to take close up pics, without going overboard. I don't want a permanent setup and I don't want to invest too much, since I'm just starting out. My budget is less than 100$.

I've seriously considered the Olloclip: https://www.olloclip.com/shop/lenses/macro-pro/

Their website states: "Included Lenses: Macro 7x- Get detail-oriented with increased magnification Macro 14x - See beyond the naked eye and photograph down to a thread on your shirt Macro 21x - Create the ultimate close up and achieve nearly 100x magnification when combined with iPhone's digital zoom."

At 80$CAD it's pretty much up there. On the plus side it seems super convenient, and I like the diffuser (a lot of people seem to have problems with the lights of the USB microscopes). On the negative side, it may not work with any subsequent phones I obtain, and the pics may not be as clear as promised (for coins especially).

Has anyone tried it to take coin pics?

Was hopeful in that somebody would reply. I too have the same budget but a diffedent phone samsung galaxy s6. Was just about to order a similar macro /lens set up on ebay.
