1946 Cent Die Crack I Can't Find Listed

Smallcentguy Pillar of the Community Canada 1984 Posts	Posted 04/23/2017 7:17 pm There are many, many die cracks in 1946 cents. Zoell listed quite a few but there are many that he did not list. Unfortunately, these are really only worth about what a regular 1946 cent is worth. Report this Post to the Staff

pennysaver Pillar of the Community Canada 937 Posts	Posted 04/23/2017 9:13 pm There must be well over a thousand different die cracks on the KGVI series. Coinsandcanada and Zoell list many, but certainly not all, maybe not even most. I've had fun the past 15 or so years picking up as many different ones as I could, and I figure I must have 5 or 6 hundred or so, but I know I haven't got all there are yet because I keeping finding new ones every time I roll hunt. Add in all the different die states of those cracks and there's no way to be sure how many different ones there are. But they sure are fun to look for, at least for me. Your coin is in nice shape; those higher grade ones will always show the errors more clearly than the vg\fines. Nice find and keep up the hunt! Report this Post to the Staff
