Any one can tell me more about 1970 Lenin two coin Proof(like) set?
I bought one this week.

I assume this the prooflike set. Any idea on mintage?

I have the same set. This is supposedly an "official" mint set issued by the State Government. There is no record that I know of that keeps a tally of how many sets were issued.

Mintage of this particular coin is at 100 million. The real challenge is this - the coins inside are actually quite common and unless you have a scarce variety (which I cannot remember what they are), they are not worth too much. However some collectors do collect the packaging and would gladly pay more for it. I am one of them.

Proof Lenin coins do exist but are quite rare, not just scarce.
