I will admit that when I see a coin of Licinius I sort of yawn and keep moving. Yeah, call me a coin snob. Most coins of Licinius just don't have the eye appeal, or artistic nature to grab my attention. This one did.......
I must admit that I bought myself two Licinius I coins last week that fall far short of the glory of your coin. I have developed a penchant for the Alexandrian style and that explains my first purchase. The second (Trier) was a nice example from the same dealer going too cheap to walk past (though some might argue wit me on that one).
I would have taken an example like yours in a heartbeat over either.
