I looked at all of the ones on VAMworld and this one is way shorter than all others. I haven't seen any other markers though. So is this a new VAM or what? Report this Post to the Staff

NGiles Pillar of the Community United States 527 Posts	Posted 04/12/2008 11:31 pm The wear on your coin makes it hard to say, and I am not an expert with Peace dollars, but I would say VAM 2AG. The clash is in the same location. Your coins is probably an EDS or LDS of this variety. Report this Post to the Staff

NGiles Pillar of the Community United States 527 Posts	Posted 04/13/2008 4:21 pm Your comparison picture is that of the VAM 2AV, it was previously the 2AG but it has been changed. The picture listed under the 2AG on VAMworld is different now, but the pictures footnote says it is a 12AG, so I don't know what's what. I was just taking a shot in the dark, but the placement looked the closest. I thought perhaps a weak strike or polishing had left part of the clash off, or removed it. Let us know when you find it, or if it turns out to be a new listing. New listings are always exciting. I personally don't collect Peace dollars, only Morgans. Good Luck!
