Looks like either coin contact or MD altered those first three devices on the EPU area?

Thanks Coop. If you click and look at my original, 1st generation close-up pic, you can see "doubling" at the top of the P and the U. My pic doesn't show it, but it's also at the top of the R and I. I was asking if that is Strike Doubling (MD), and if the "doubling" elsewhere on the devices is Die Deterioration Doubling ( DDD).
Now that I see it in your side by side, I'm not sure the devices are not enlarged. There's very little wear on the coin.

On die wear it is often seen on the sides of the devices facing the rims. On MD you can see if on the inside/outside of devices and sometimes on both if the dies are very loose.

Both can happen on the same coin.

But the interior devices can also flow towards rim creating a different look:

On this nickel the devices are almost loosing the shape of the devices.

Good stuff Coop, thank you. My coin is what I thought it was, a little Strike Doubling and die wear.
