Hey Everyone,

So I am going cross eyed trying to identify which DDO listing this is.. To me the doubling in the 2 (extra tail) most resembles WDDO - 22 but it does not display any of the die markers.. It does show the features of the doubled master die with the exception of not having the short die gouge in the upper S of trust.. all assistance greatly appreciated..

Looks like a normal master die doubling known for most if not all 1972 P-D and S. So your coin is not a collectible doubled die.

While it is a doubled die, (master die doubled) about 1/2 of the coins struck that year from all three mints can look like that. So it is so common, it is not a collectable.
