Hi Eli
That is a cool note. Worth a premium in my opinion. How is the condition? Could sell for 10-20 on the bay.
here is a similar one.

I don't see much value in this note. The serial number is cool, but not cool enough for much of a premium.

The value is established by those who do care for this note. There is enough of a demand for these, that they sell on ebay...

There are thousands of similar (4 successive different double digit) combinations out there for each prefix and suffix pairing.

Don't quit your day job!

Perhaps. From the way I see it, it's just not worth the fees involved, the time to pack it up for shipping, and then the time to take it to the post office.

I suppose I've never understood the craze for serial numbers. I just like something with a little history behind it, rather than random serials.

When it comes to fancy serial numbers, I set the bar pretty high. The OP's note will have an appeal to someone that will pay a premium above face, but I'm with Wheat on this. If I found it in circulation, and depending on it's condition, I would be tempted to keep it......I would not pay above face to own it. These typically show up on ebay and for no particular notion, people buy them.

Must agree. I like solid digit serial numbers and those below 100, but that's about it.

Nice SN and I'd keep it if the condition is decent. Wouldn't bother trying to sell tho.
