Poll Question
I've been searching for coins out of circulation since I was five years old... I've found a lot of good stuff over that time including a 1950-D nickel, an XF 1909 VDB Lincoln, an XF/AU 1883 No Cents V nickel, and an AU-55 1939-D Nickel. Although all of those coins are nice and are worth a nice premium, I broke the bank quite literally a few weeks ago with this 1928-S Buffalo I found in a MWR... It grades out at about AU-53 and is worth in the neighborhood of $150! Which brings me to the question, what is your most valuable CRH or circulation find, and what is its value?
CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!

I think there is already a thread like this. Mine is a Lincoln Cent, 1988-D RDV 006.2 John1

My most valuable would be my Canadian 1973 Large bust quarter, however I think my most profitable would be 1996 attached 6 nickel

For us, we've found a 38d Jefferson in AU-55 (about $5), also a misaligned die 81P nickel error that is probably around the same value.

Best % over face value would be a 1950-D nickel in F or low VF. In terms of absolute value, I found a few 90% halves in a box when silver was hovering around $35-45/oz.

Will have to be my 1972-D no FG half dollar. I'm guessing $250 plus.

I ticked the box marked $99-$250 for my 1999 WAM FS-901 in high AU low MS condition. My first post here at CCF! I'm curious as to who the high rollers with coins valued at over $1000 are. I know OldJoeClark found that 1969 S DDO that sold for a bit over 18k recently, but that's it. You other guys speak up. Now!

I answered in the $5 to $9.99 range because as far as I know, the most valuable coin I found was a 1964 half dollar, although I've found countless silver dimes and a few quarters from Coinstar machines.

Found a nice AU wounded eagle Sacagawea, not sure of the value but probably my best recent find.

Mine would have to be a 1950-D nickel. Found lots of common silver, but that was back in the day when it was fairly common.
