1946-S LWC PMD Or Lamination Error?

Normally I would just call this a rolled rim, but there is not damage on outside of rim on this one. Under a loop it looks like a lamination error but is attached to the rim. Is this possible?

Looks more like some partially peeling debris that was struck onto the coin. The weight should be slightly heavier, but figuring it is probably very thin, it would not add on much weight.

It's not a Lam, but yes it is possible for a Lamination error to be in the rim.

Thanks again coop! That's a new one to me.

So you mean there may have been part of the plating from another coin on die and this coin was struck through it, causing the debris (Plating) to adhere itself to coin?
