I was nickel roll hunting today and found two toned 1944-p War Nickels, and they were even in the same roll.

There was a 1940 and a 1941 nickel, but not good enough condition to keep.

Nice catch. Ya gotta wonder ... somebody must have been a few nickels short of a roll and threw those in. I like both but that top one is a dandy circulated toner.

Wow! That first '44 is very nice. I've found one War Nickel (I think a '43-P) in rolls so far and it happened to be an ender. I need to get some more rolls...

Why the disparaging remark Mark1959? I see others have ignored it but, I can't. I understand being skeptical but that's a little extreme. There is a lot remaining to be found. Maybe try ebay cherrypicking?

Very nice finds . Surely they weren't circulating for 73 years especially the fist one .

That first one must be worth some serious coin, I'd think!

Does anyone have an idea of what they could be worth?

Maybe $2 apiece. Nice finds! I agree with the group; number 1 has nice appeal!
