I was reading "Coins" and came across the full page advertisement for G&F coin gallery coin of the month. I have seen it quite a few times but always breezed over it. Does any one have any experience with this outfit?...........thanks.....dom

I've looked but haven't found any info for them online. What kidna coins do they carry?

It looks like some sort of deal where you pay them monthly and they send you a variety of coins to examine. if you like them, you keep'em and if you don't you send them back. you're monthly payment depends on the coins you are interested in etc, gold, type coins, contemporary etc.

I am not too familiar with G&F coins. Other companies have had similar deals. I personally think it would be better to just purchase what you want instead of getting locked into a program, where you may end up sending more coins back than you want to keep.

These programs seem like the perfect method for dealers to move coins that don't easily sell on their own merits. I expect that collectors who sign up for these deals will generally not receive coins with nice eye appeal, excellent luster, attractive toning, and/or key date status.
