It took from 12:30 to 15 minutes ago to get my pics uploaded, should have been done in under an hour. I must have got kick off about 4 or 5 times.
I didn't think I was that much trouble.

I have never uploaded more than a few photos at a time, so I really cannot say it should not be a problem.

I don't use gallery much but have noticed lag on uploads to posts, seems to happen shortly after 12 PM forum time. Apparently allot of users then. Either max routing ports used or server is running some kind of background diagnostic which could run every 12 hours.  |

I have had a lot of trouble getting on the Gallery site recently. usually comes up with some "500" error. today I'm getting this... Quote:

triggersmob, I have gotten this (error message) one as well.
I am assuming that there is only so much juice allocated for the gallery uploads and we are overwhelming it. I see that when I sign in down at the bottom there is sometimes somebody else in there. You can see the members name(s)
I think it's sort of like a bathroom at a big party. We have to wait until they get done in there.
On a side note, I am not going to complain. I am grateful for the space that is FREE to members.
A little inconvenience maybe. The tough part sometimes is that nobody can look at what is loaded up in that section of the forum. It's not only a problem with us who have been uploading. Others can't look at what's in there because of this bug or issue.

Yesterday I was uploading a lot and was the only member with 15 visitors and had no problem. Different than the last few days.

I just tried to get on and was able to log in with no problems. I plan to upload some more pics later today so I hope it stays running...

I was almost done and down it went, but I did see 'staff' was on at the same time so maybe let hope.

What is the gallery? And why would it be pertinent to this website?
Edit: Yeah ok I got it. So everyone can show off their collections. Seems like a waste of disk space. I've never clicked on any ones gallery since I've been a member. The threads provide ample opportunity to show off coins.
If it were my site, I would get rid of the section entirely.
