TobyJ Pillar of the Community United Kingdom 1273 Posts	Posted 05/10/2017 12:19 pm I have quite a large collection of Libyan banknotes, and I was wondering if they were legal tender still? And could be exchanged? I can't seem to find any information about it online. I have a collection of 224 Banknotes, in varying conditions but most are pretty good with a few creases and folds. I have 1,5, 10 Dinars 2004 Issue 6 (170 banknotes) and 5,10,50 Dinars 2008 Issue 7, (54 banknotes) If these are not legal tender, would I be better selling them individually, or all as one lot? Libyans were given until 15 March 2012 to exchange them. Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C.
