Royal Canadian Mint - The first "1964" version of the Kennedy half dollar is integrated in a 2oz coin bar of pure Silver .999. The bar picks up the theme of the coin and honours JFK with a portrait on the front side as well as a quote on the reverse side.

What a bargain at only $150 per ounce. I'm sure it's worth the 8.6 X spot (sarcasm intended).

Did they run out of Canadian themes for their over-priced carp?

I guess the RCM ran out of things to commemorate on coins, so now they have to ruin the silver art bar market as well...

There are still the months of the year, days of the week, hours in the day, types of trees, grades of syrup, etc. The RCM has plenty to commemorate so long as collectors are willing to spend.
