I am not familiar with Harper's Ferry. The images I have found are not enough detail to answer my question, or there is too much shadow. I assume this (see arrow) is a normal feature on them, but I would appreciate confirmation.

I don't see images on the PCGS coinfacts site. I did find some from the U.S. Mint site, but the Business strike and the Proof examples show different lines on those areas.

So we will probably need to see how the other coins look for this year to know for sure.

I have searched many images online and found nothing definitive.
Unfortunately, this is the only Harper's Ferry I have at the moment. Perhaps someone who sees this has one they can post?

Meanwhile. I'll keep looking!

Thanks for those images. The only problem is that the area of my interest is in complete shadow. That is one of the problems I encountered with online images, too. I hope someone might post an example with relatively clear lighting on the area I have indicated with an arrow. I can see that the outline of the area in your images appears to be the same as the outline on my coin. However, I am looking for detail. I am fairly well convinced that it is a normal part of the design, but I don't want to pass up an outside chance that it could be some form of doubling.

Not sure if these are any better but I did try to use different angles and adjust lighting .. but that is proving to be a very tough area to image .. :( sorry

Thank you! Those are much more helpful! It certainly appears that the feature is part of the design. It is as I expected but not what I hoped for.

I keep albums of National Park and Statehood Quarters, just for comparison capabilities. You're right Pete. It's definitely normal.
