Coin is graded ms62 from ICG. I got it only for $40. It appears to have a thin coat of grime or something on the obverse, and a bit on the reverse. I'm highly considering cracking it and trying acetone and maybe a dip. Thoughts? I would like to maybe send to PCGS with my next submission if it comes out possibly good. You can see the luster from underneath.

If you think the dip will take care of the grime, I would go for it. ICG is a far cry from NGC and PCGS anyway. Hard to tell from the pics but the observe check looks clean of scratches.

Unfortunately this gamble didn't pay off. The acetone and light dip didn't improve the coin at all, and it made it look uglier. Probably was fiddled with before. Note to self buy a better looking coin next time, NGC or PCGS. Got it from centsles on ebay.

It's not a bad looking coin. All coins are unique. That coin has no wear or serious dings.
