Does anyone know what the weight of a 1976s is? The coin fact page lists them all as 11.3 grams. I am trying to figure out if this 90% or 40%, but cannot see a line on the edge. Will weigh it tonight at work. Grateful for any input.

There were no 1976s 90%er according to:

1976 $1 $10
1976D $1 $4.51
1976S Prf. $1.75
1976S 40% Silver $6.51
1976S 40% Silver Prf. $5

It may be a clad proof also.

Thanks folks! It weighed in at 11.598 grams on our scales here. You helped clear up my confusion about bicentenial silvers.

Yep the weights are close 11.50 for silver clad, and 11.34 for copper nickel clad according to the Red Book.
