I am showing the obverse of this quarter, it has a decent enough reverse. The pitting and parallel lines on this reminds me of an original planchet that has rolling marks and original planchet burn. Or was it scraped. It is an overall weak strike which made me believe that the planchet was not squeezed into the deeper recesses of the obverse die. It just looks bad.
Edit: the reverse has some pitting as well in the centre.
The different appearance of the lines to the rest of the coin leads me to believe those are PMD scratches over a porous area. A closer look with a microscope will show if it's scratched or made by a die.
