Got this for AU $ today from a guy who bought it years ago from a little old lady. I can tell it's original and is probably unc. This year is hard to tell from the high relief design. This coin may also benefit from a dip or possible conservation, thoughts?

No it hasn't been dipped, it's my lighting, I was running out of daylight when I took the pics. I'll try for better pics tomorrow with better lighting

Value seems to be between $125 and $200 in the AU range. I don't think the retail value justifies slabbing other than ANACS for your own collection. I would leave it alone and put it in an Air-Tite. Ask the pros if you should do a quick dip in pure acetone before putting it in a holder.I have always wanted a 21 in my collection,maybe someday. John1

AU 55 maybe +, but a weaker strike. I can't see the luster, but I would think that it is stronger than the pictures show.

Coincidentally I should be getting an old gen Anacs 1921 Peace dollar in the mail today graded 62. The price I paid for the 21 peace above was $120. I'm gonna get an opinion from my long term dealer and see if he will dip it correctly and see if it truly is mint state, as I said this date is hard to gauge cause of inconsistencies in luster, strike, etc.

I don't see any luster and it looks like a typically weakly struck up 1921 Peace. The eye appeal is below average with a technical grade of AU50 or so.
