Found this nice little gem the other night while coin roll hunting. Thought it was a really neat error that was at least worthy of a 2x2. Break is found in the second 0 of 2000

I would say neither. The post that forms the center of the '0' had broken off the die. When this happens the device looks filled. The taller the height, the more of the die broke sways with the post. The rest of the life of that die, will all the coins like this.

Nice find CC2000. Look on your coin to the right of the statue of Lincoln. Is that a doubled partial column alongside the column? I can't tell for sure from your picture. If it's there you should be able to see it. It would look something like this.
