"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

the left is harshly polished and the right is extremely corroded..sorry for the bad news..the left although harshly cleaned has beautiful detail.

I wouldn't say harshly, that thing has great eye appeal.

While Lefty is a very well struck coin with a great deal of detail (typical for this series) I've got to agree with harshly polished...

In fact, I think whoever whizzed it might have burnt out their Dremel tool...

Eye appeal (maybe) based on the pictures, but I would wager that in hand it has a mirror surfaces and rainbow toning to the point that even Asyn would have trouble marketing it.

Righty is an acid job, so much so that it has shrunken the diameter enough to be visible to the naked eye.

Don't mean to beat on your coins Dorado, I love everything from the 1800s, but they are what they are.

Whizzing is not polishing though both can be done with a Dremel tool.
