I'm curious about what coin related books you all are reading. Even just tangentially related readings anyone is doing (for example maybe something on collections in general) would be topical here. Beyond that it would be interesting if people share what's on their list to read in the future as well, if anything.
I'm new here and curious as to what kinds of readings the experts do, or people at any level in the trade. I'm looking to buy a book myself and I'll post it once I've picked it out.
To make the thread even more wide ranging people should post their favorite reads from the past as well.

Truth Seeker, the Eric Newman story is a good read. Most coin books are reference material which makes for boring reading. This is not one of those.

Some I've read are:
History of the US Mint and its Coinage by David Lange
The Secret History of the First U.S. Mint: How Frank H Stewart Destroyed & then saved a National Treasure by Orosz and Augsburger
Coins and Collectors: Golden Anniversary by Bowers
American Coin Treasures and Hoards by Bowers

The one by Orosz and Augsburger was a great read, lots of information on the early Philadelphia mint and pictures that complimented the text. I see several used copies on Amazon in the $5.XX plus ~$4 shipping. No sense in paying more for a new copy when used is cheaper...unless you absolutely want to. -MV

Thanks I'll start by looking at that one. I also noticed you wrote you're building a Numismatic Library/Reference, that sounds pretty good. Is it coming together nicely?

Yes, I've got around 110 books now and have slowed down adding more as I am running out of space on my bookshelf. I have become more selective on what I buy.
I may not be able to afford to collect certain coins but a more affordable option is books.

That reminds me of my political / philosophy library, I've gradually built it up and now I'm a bit more selective, more due to the fact that I have less time though. I'm trying to cut out some time to get through at least the bare minimum of coin and general collecting readings though so thanks for what you've added!
