Hello again,

Last one for today.. I was wondering what is going on with the lower part of the left leg of the "N" in Unum on this coin. It appears to be thicker than the rest of the lettering.. would this be a die break within the lettering?

Unfortunately I am even worse taking photos of proofs than I am at business strike photos .. but under direct examination there is no ding mark to this area.. it is a smooth transition from the thinner area to the larger area.. but the transition is abrupt which makes it look like a nick in my photos... hope the verbal description helps

Here is another 1962 proof I pulled out of my collection.. It also has the "fat foot" .. guessing maybe the coloring or light reflection making this one look off..?

Looks like that die was over polished on that area. Sometimes the top of the letters on UNUM will go away.
