Found this ND quarter and noticed that Roosevelt appears to have an extra eye. I'm beginning to think it may be just damage. But before I place in the spend pile I want to get an expert opinion.

I'm not an expert but I think that it may have to do with the fact that he has glasses on that makes it look different than you except.

I'm terrible spotting 'errors' but I'm only seeing 1 eye behind the lens of his glasses.

At 1st glance, he does appear to be sporting the cyclops look.

But looking at it in context, it does appear to be a lens.
