Quick question: Do the same banks use the same source in which to order coin?

I order from one bank and dump in a different branch of that same bank one town over. Will I end up searching through the same coins I've been dumping? Would it just be safer to dump in a different bank altogether?

How exactly does the supply / order fulfillment of coins work at banks?

Sometimes nearby branches of the same bank will trade cash amongst themselves (like if one branch gets a glut of half dollars). I don't think different brand banks will typically trade with each other.

The safest bet is to mark your rolls with a marker (make like an x them or something). That way, you'll know that you're getting your same rolls back again and it's time to move on to somewhere else.

Yes. Branches of the same bank will share coin. Find a dump bank that's not just a different branch but a different bank.

I also use another branch to dump! It works out good for me! Just dont dump searched coins at the bank you use!

Edited by Bryan1315: I made one post out of the three seperate posts you had made with just one sentence each, please try to do it this way instead of making three separate posts

Marking your rolls with a marker will not generally help. Normally if a bank sells coin they have to dump the coin into a huge bag to sell so that it can be counted with a coin counter. So if you mark them chances are the wrapper will not be the same one in the end.

If you are dumping coin I would say dump at a different bank than the one your buying from. Normally a bank will use the same company to buy and sell money from. So even if you are going across town but with in the same bank you run the chance of gettin the same coin back. But here again before banks can sell coin they have to put them into a big bag all mixed together so all the rolls will get mixed together so the rolls wont be the same as when you took them to the bank.
