Hey this is my first post on the site so I'm still quite new.

I found a 2 Pound 1991 Rugby Coin with a misprint on the side of the coin that says '999' instead of '1991'

I was wondering if any collectors have encountered this coin or know if its of any value?

Thank you for the help, much appreciated!

I'd like to see a pic of that. I was thinking along the lines of a purity statement, but these coins dont have that.

1999 is the year they were made.
Unfortunately the 1 has been weakened by unfortunate spacing of the milling, and with circulation use has almost disappeared.
