I have been collecting coins (mostly US but some from various countries) and some currency casually for years. My parents recently gifted me coins that both of my grandfathers had saved and that they had each inherited years ago. None were preserved in anything more than paper coin rolls and all are circulated. It has been very exciting going through all of these coins which more than doubled my existing collection. I have been a lurker on this site for some time and joined in hopes of posting some images and meeting other collectors since I do not know anyone who shares my interest! Thanks! It took forever to take pics with focus. Maybe that should be my first question - how do people take such good pics!? Better equipment than a phone I am guessing? I may need to invest in something! gintonic New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 06/03/2017 6:41 pm Hopefully this will come out ok. I have an error Indian Head penny - date unknown and very mangled looking. It also appears to be silver. I took photos of an 1887 Indian Head penny with it to show the contrast. Anyone have any ideas on how this came to be this way or type of error? Thank you!!
