62. difficult to see surfaces through hazy toning. reverse has some hits visible despite toning. weakly struck on right side.

with 62 because of marks. The partial weak reverse strike is common for this date, so not really distracting.

At first I thought it was a proof due to the reflective fields around "CENTS" but the stars look weak and the planchet looks not proof material so I'll say MS-64

Mint State sharpness, but the luster appears subdued in the photo. For that reason I'd say MS-62.

Hard to fathom that a conspicuously weakly struck proof with multiple hits in the reverse on the central device could be 64. Looks to me like PCGS overgraded this coin.

Yes, if the surfaces are as cloudy as they appear to be in the photos, especially the reverse, I'd say that PCGS do over grade it.

Well, there's the proof! it grades 64 I would not have thought of it being a proof. Very sneaky .... very sneaky RK55.
