Hello,
I ran across this today while looking through some coins and was wondering if anyone can tell me more about it and possibly give me a price range as to what it would cost. The coin was struck off center and seems to have some circle in the middle, I have no idea what may have caused that.

Thank you for your help

Yea, appears to have been whacked by a piece of 1/2 " cast pipe and a hammer, so much that reverse has bulged out, done a VERY long time ago, talking cast iron/steel pipe not conduit of today.

Would that explain the off-center strike?

No, the off-center strike happened during minting. It's a very small degree so it wouldn't really command a premium even without the PMD.

Edit: In the future, it will be beneficial to crop out excess background on images and make sure they are oriented correctly. When creating a post, use the "Preview" button to make sure it is all in order before posting.

The off center look is from the cent being in a nickel 2X2.
