Selling a nice lot of Jefferson nickles. 1930's, 40's, 50's and 60's. Many are proofs and BU's. There are several full steps. Let's discuss

Let's not, until you have enough posts. https://www.coincommunity.com/forum/rules.asp

Wrong forum, anyway.

However, if you are selling it elsewhere (like ebay)
you can link to it in the appropriate forum.

Probably just face value. Most all modern proof coins are just shinny change, you collect them as souvenirs not for profit. coin collecting is for fun not to make a profit dude.

The potential can really depend on specifically what you have. If you have some of the early proofs from 1938 through 1942, those may run about $100 each. Early 50's are around $50, dropping to a couple bucks by the late 1950s. For the MS coins, a couple from the 1930s and 40s are worth a little more (several 10s of dollars) in high MS, and there are a couple varieties that are more. In any case, pictures and specifics would allow us to help you more.

No harm, Jbedwell. As has been mentioned, early proofs will demand a good premium depending on condition as well as early MS coins.

A detailed description and some pics would be needed to get a ballpark amount.

None of the proofs in those years are worth face unless they're impaired (same for more modern proofs).

Full Steps would be a tough sell unless they're slabbed and attributed as FS.

Here are images. The 3rd pic will be the first two pics combined. There are some nice one's such as: 1939 reverse 40, 1946 D double die, x2 1950 D & several FS nickels.

I see a few potential goodies in the pictures. I see some troubling spotting too on those that it hurts IMO.
When you are eligible to sell here, you'll need to do better on the pictures, show both sides. Maybe smaller groups of 6 at a time at least. Describe any problems or lack of problems.

Oh I know the pics are bad. I have roughly 4 thousand coins and post some on the classic coin side. I mainly have Morgan's, Peace & Walking coins. I just like the look of a nice classic Jefferson nickel.
