"Flat, shelf like, and size of the devices are reduced" looks like MD to me.

I concur. It's a very nice and clear example of Machine Doubling. If I had one like this, I'd keep it as a reminder of what not to keep.

What you have on the last Pic. is a DDR. Your first coin is a MD and common on Kennedy dated from mid 60's to mid 70's.and yours is a strong one,very nice!

Both coins are MD, the picture that you are comparing it it's a DDO , if you notice you can see the split on A and M , yours doesn't have it.

That is a DDR .UNITED STATES OF AMERICA...and the STARS are located on the Reverse of the coin.
