tarnished..or toned..but I think
its environmental damage..?

Umm, I think it may be short of EF but, you have lots of shine on the photo so, hard to tell.

looks like at least a nice AU example..some luster peaking through, especially on the reverse, nice coin. the colour isn't great but I wouldn't call ti environmental damage..just a little bit unattractive. it could be worse though, at least it is an even brown and not dark.

i think the high relief and colour are making it look more worn out than it actually is. could push a technical grade of AU-58.

Probably ms 60 plus I can't tell becaus of the toning. Those are the types of coins that ICCS seems to grade high

i tried 2 get better photos
too no avail..!!..
would you think this example
might benefit from an acetone wash..?.
i tilting toward doing that
but would appreciate all other opinions
