The strap on the so called 2015P mint eagles means it was package and quality control at Philly mint, not that the coins were minted there. Oops. So there's gonna be a lot more than 79000 coins with the P mintmark label because a bunch of monster boxes were quality control and packaged at Philly mint. Collectors will be like aren't there supposed to be only 79000 of this coin, when the NGC and PCGS population gets like at 500000 ha. Is this finally gonna be the end of the label fad. Cause collectors aren't gonna get their money back and gonna get angry at the hobby.

I don't understand why one Mint would QC the production of two...and if it did wouldn't the box numbers ALL indicate that same Mint?...

I would think both Mints would do their own QC and THEN ship to a central distribution site. I really doubt loose boxes or coins are being shipped ANYWHERE

DO you have a link that confirms your statement...could be true but just weird to me

Edited to add:

This is the latest I have from a couple of weeks ago. It is kinda pointless whether the written number is a production number (as stated) or a QC number...it is the NUMBER that they were working with to ID the Mint but now it seems that info was incorrect
