I'm learning how to spot DDO / DDR vs Machine Doubling. Does this look like a match? I looked primarily at the double tips of the 'R'. Cherrypicker Guide's picture shown for comparison.

Yes it is a match. your coin is indeed the 1963 DDO-001 FS-101 and a nice One.

Thanks for the invite. These DDOs are incredibly hard for me to see. You need a good angle of lighting to capture the doubled outlines, and it probably doesn't help that I'm only using 5x magnification. I feel like I need to be using 10x or even higher.

Your picture is pretty good, using 10x and 30x magnification in the right light condition will enhance the details, I included some Pics. taken at 10X and 30X Mag. for you to compare,it's all about practice and having the right tool to do it with.
