So went to order 2 boxes from my bank and turns out that they double ordered the last time I got some so they already had 2 boxes. Didn't have to wait... lucky me!! Turned out that the first box was amazing... 8 x 1964 1 x 1965 1 x 1966 6 x 1967 5 x 1968 1 x 1969 ...and to cap it all... 1 x 1943 D walking liberty! *** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. ***

I don't have the bucks to search halves but, that's an excellent score Finn! That Walker may be worth a little more than $0.50... And, eight '64 Kennedy's? I don't even know but, that's a monster box in my book!

I don't know how other people do but I just started doing this a few months ago. I probably would not have done for too long if it wasn't for the first box that had 1 1964 and 4 40% coins. So naturally I thought that this isn't so difficult, why doesn't everyone do this...lol. I have now done a total of 10 boxes and have had 2 boxes with 5 silvers and 2 boxes with 1 silver. Oh and one box with 23 (yes twenty-three) silvers. So half the boxes have had silver in them. I don't know what is normal but to anyone starting out, stick with it. I am guessing that the last box was a once in a lifetime box. Thx, Finn

My average is must lower in South Florida. I also started about six months ago and I'd say less than half of the boxes have silver. I'm still waiting to get a 23 box or one like the OP. Either way, it is still fun!

NIce score! I could be wrong, but that looks like a Brink's double decker. Of all my years searching halves, the few Brinks-wrappered boxes were always positive with silver. NF String, not so much.

All the boxes I get are like that. I order them from Wells Fargo. What does a us mint box look like? The boxes have always had a number in black marker on them. All the other boxes had a 1 or a 2 but the epic box had an 8. Don't know if they are written on the boxes at the bank... Happy hunting, Finn
