You don't have enough posts to sell them on CCF. Be sure to read the Buy/Sell/Trade/Want List Rules

Unless the small date is copper, they're both worth face value.

The small date, to me, looks like a copper-plated zinc cent. So, it's common. If it weighs around 2.5 grams, then that's your answer as to value (face).

Keep searching!

Besides the fact you can't sell per forum rules...this has to be a joke, right? You cant possibly believe that a coin with BILLIONS minted, in environmentally damaged, zinc rot infested, terrible eye appeal condition would have ANY value over it's intrinsic worth of...one cent!

Well, on second thought, there is ebay....

@Crazyb0

I do believe that your post here is exactly what Mitchell Roberts was speaking of in his topic/address to the Error Community.

It appears from an internet standpoint that you are laughing (multiple times) at the OP for even asking. There's no harm in asking. Remember that inherited 1795 dollar?

I never thought of myself as a teacher but, I have a lot of patience and I approach every new member as if they were me just starting out less than a year ago.

Edit: Also, the OP never said they wanted to sell on CCF and no offer of such was made. Trying to gauge value before selling is perfectly fine.

I did not agree with Mitchell Roberts in that other thread but in this particular case Laughing directly at a new member is just not right.

Kuroyami, to the sometimes slightly dysfunctional family. The bad news is there is the environmental damage to your coins. The good news is that the last time I checked, the price of zinc was up so you might have a little more than Two Cents!

Sorry, I just checked again and you'd better go with face value.
