i was going through pennies and I came across a 2006 nonmagnetic penny and knowing it potential value I went to check if it had a p or Royal Canadian Mint logo it had neither. Can anybody explain this? is this a production error? pics can be provided if necessary

It is common. There are 2006 normal, 2006 P and 2006 RCM logo. All of which have magnetic and non magnetic counterparts. 2006P non magnetic is worth the most, 2006 magnetic is worth the second most, the others are all pretty insignificant value with the 2006P magnetic leading that pack by a little.

There are many varieties of the cent in it's later years...both magnetic and non-magnetic. Some with P or RCM logos. It's mind boggling!
