Hello everybody!

I purchased a roll of indian head and wheat pennies on ebay, and I discovered this coin inside of it. It is absolutely stunning and I was wondering what you would think its grade would be.

I find it a little odd that this nice Lincoln would be in a mixed roll from an e-bay seller . But I guess it depends on how much you paid for the roll . Photos aren't the best ,but I'll say AU-58 +++RD,RD,RD .

Yes, if it was in an ebay roll then it had to be handled with other coins making it a circulated coin - I agree - AU58 RD

The coin looks MS to me but better photos would be needed to confirm that.

Yes, your dealer definitely stacked the deck, including this easter egg in the middle along with whatever attractive cents were on the ends. If you didn't pay too much, then congrats on the find.

Hard to say for sure based on the pics but AU55-60 is likely. I think it went directly from an uncirculated roll to your roll of mixed coins. Just curious: did the dealer advertise this as an "unsearched roll"?

A 1958 wheatie in slightly worse condition, 4 Indians, a 1917, and lots of S coins (seller lives in Washington).

Also, to answer Biedercoins question, the seller stated that " I rolled these pennies myself, I did not look at any dates or mint marks on any of the pennies." So, yes, basically.

So he was wearing a blindfold when he was rolling the cents?

When I see a lot of coins on ebay, and they say that "this is an unsearched roll" or "1909 s vdb found!" I just ignore that product and look for something else. This roll had a low price though, and I did get some nice things out of it.
