I don't know - I see full LIBERTY and at least 3 diamonds, nice shield and oak leaves detail - AU50

I'd grade it at VF 35 as well. There are some distracting hits.

The left obverse field looks like it's been rubbed or polished. For that reason I'd say it would get a "details grade."
As for the sharpness grade, that would be EF, but there are a lot of small marks which makes it "chippy." Overall this coin never saw much circulation, but it has been banged up and cleaned for whatever reasons.

EF-45 details, rim nicks. Not sure of a cleaning as it appears to be an issue with the lighting of the photo.

Honestly think the glare in the left obverse field is flash bounce (which exaggerates the defects), as on the reverse. I think this is probably a very nice solid EF-40 or 45.
