Hi, one time I went to the coin shop and they had a beautiful rainbow toned proof 1973 for only like $5 or something. Silly old me didn't care to buy it until my appreciation for it grew over the course of one day. Of course the next day I regretted not buying it before because someone else had come in right after me and bought it. So when I saw they had another toner today I bought this for $7. I would like to know if I did a good job.

It's pretty shiny too but I couldn't manage to get the shine and the colors in the same shot.

Some will like toned coins and some won't here. The question is do you like it?
I can't always tell the difference between artificially toned or natural. This one I would think is natural and I would have jumped on it for 7 bucks cause I like it.
The last image, I bet is the best example of what the coin looks like in person. Golds and blues. :-)

I'd buy that for $7. I would much rather have the toned War Nickel whether it's AT or not because that one has eye appeal (and silver ). It looks to be in good shape, too. I can see the luster there.

In my book, that's a good purchase but others may disagree.

Yeah, TheNickelGuy, I think the first pictures exaggerate the blues. The reverse picture was good.

I love wartime nickels. Would've have purchased that one in a heartbeat. I found a similar one at my LCS last year for $5.
Rest in Peace

I like the color . In my opinion this is a slightly circulated coin .
