Purchased a lot of quarters off ebay and this caught my eye. Note: Hairlines on reverse aren't visible in person. To me this coin looks original but I'd love more opinions. Thanks!

I would say AU-58 with things touch on go on getting a full head. Yes, it is possible to get a full head on an AU-58 graded Standing Liberty Qaurter. I bought and sold one years ago.
As for original, no, I think that it has been dipped, but with no ill effects.

AU-58. Photo lighting tends to accentuate any small marks on the surface.

It seems that you don't have a full date because the "1" in the 1918 seems to have been worn flat. This is so common in coins before 1925. Other than that it is a beautiful coin but AU58 for at least that reason. These are great coins but hard to complete a set due to expensive coins like 1916, 23-S and 27-S. If you get those coins with a strong date in at least EF condition you will have to pay. I lack only the 1916 and I want one with a strong and complete date.

I would grade it lower due to the dings on the reverse around the rim @ 2:30 and 10:30. AU-53.

Just falls just short of MS60. Tiniest amount of wear on Liberty's head and the high points of the shield (obv,), eagle's breast feathers and the leading edges of the wings (rev.). Perhaps the centers of the stars as well (both sides). Weak strike in the date, but that is not wear. It looks quite white in the pictures, one would ask: 'why?' - but actually, I personally don't mind it like this. Other opinions may differ. Pictures make it easier than most to grade on the screen. Ta! Desirable and pleasing coin.
