Obverse image is too small but reverse clearly shows PMD and old corrosion porosity.

Pix aren't greatest, do see a lot of damage but wonder if that "smear" on right reverse in not actually a "retained lamination"...appears to be same shape/size as a hit of some sort tearing from NNE to SEE from 1 o'clock to 4 o'clock for you directionally challenged!

Most likely is Post-strike damage, a tear that was pressed on.
