I have a coin that I've tried for months to find, and finally concluded I need help. One side has the design of a Spanish maravedi, but the other side is odd. As you will read it lists Ferdinand VII as king, with a date of 1816, but has no bust, just a flowery shield with a crown at the top. Also, the denomination on the right is 1/4, and the mintmark seems to be Mo, which should be Mexico. What am I missing?
Thank you ! That is the coin. Apparently I did not pay attention. Sometimes Krause catalog is somewhat obtuse. No picture of the coin, and the heading 1/8 real didn't click with conversion to 1/4 tlaco. I'm glad you saw it . Thanks again.
