I have a have a 1969s and was wondering about the ear. Ive compared it to others and stands out from them.

Ah, see they got you moved OK! Only pic of 69S I have is this, the true Doubled die. The ear is a "High" point of the cent, it is the first to get hit on flat surfaces since it actually sticks above the rim (looking flat). Yours has been smashed down, PMD (Post Mint Damage)it may also have been hit to the west in center...?
